Security Guard at Wacol, Queensland

ISS is seeking vigilant, professional, and customer-focused Security Officers to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be entrusted with safeguarding people and property across a range of client sites. You’ll provide a visible security presence, respond to incidents, and help create safe environments where people feel confident and protected.

Whether patrolling premises, managing access, or responding to emergencies, you’ll be a key part of our mission to deliver high-quality, client-focused security services.

• →Monitor and authorise entry and exit of staff, visitors, and contractors
• →Patrol premises to detect and deter unauthorised access or suspicious activity
• →Respond to alarms, disturbances, and incidents with professionalism and urgency
• →Operate communication systems and maintain situational awareness
• →Inspect and adjust security systems and equipment
• →Prepare accurate daily reports and incident documentation
• →Promote a safe and secure environment through proactive engagement
• →Act in accordance with site-specific SOPs and ISS policies
• →Perform concierge duties (if applicable), including front desk management and visitor coordination

We're seeking experienced Security Officers with a valid Security Licence to join our team, working 12-hour shifts and a 36-hour work week. First Aid qualifications are highly regarded.

• Valid Security Licence (state-specific)
• Certificate III in Security Operations
• Current Driver's Licence (preferred)
• First Aid qualification (highly regarded)
• Experience in security, customer service, or team-based environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive under pressure
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and exceptional service Desirable.
