Position: Logistics Analyst (Junior)

Overview: ITC Defense is seeking a Junior Logistician to support the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) International Sustainment Center (ISC) and International Program logistics teams in support of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) operations. This position contributes to the effective sustainment of international programs within a collaborative logistics environment supporting U.S. Navy and international partner requirements. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced logistics environment.


Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day logistics support to NAVAIR International Sustainment Center (ISC) teams supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) warehouse operations and international partner sustainment requirements.
  • Perform warehouse logistics activities, including receiving, stowing, picking, packing, shipping, and tracking material movements in accordance with established FMS and ISC procedures.
  • Support inventory management through cycle counts, physical inventories, discrepancy resolution, and monitoring of stock levels, material condition, and shelf-life status.
  • Coordinate with transportation and freight management teams to support inbound and outbound FMS shipments and ensure required shipping and export documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Use Navy Programs of Record and logistics information systems, such as NALCOMIS, NDMS, and ERP systems, to maintain records, verify inventory status, and support material accountability.
  • Analyze warehouse, inventory, and material movement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Prepare and maintain logistics reports, documentation, logs, and audit-ready records supporting warehouse performance, inventory health, material movements, and FMS case requirements.
  • Collaborate with ISC warehouse personnel, International Program Managers, APML logistics teams, and other stakeholders to resolve order, inventory, and logistics-related issues.
  • Perform other logistics and warehouse support duties as required to meet evolving FMS and ISC mission needs.
  • Other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college and less than three (3) years of relevant experience in FMS, logistics, supply chain, program management, acquisition, lifecycle management, technical or business analysis, or a related discipline.
  • Working knowledge of logistics, inventory management, warehousing, supply chain, or material management principles and processes.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records, documentation, and data in support of inventory and material accountability.
  • Ability to analyze logistics or inventory data, identify discrepancies or trends, and support resolution of issues.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Must possess an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance or have the ability to obtain and maintain one.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting warehouse, inventory management, material management, supply chain, or logistics operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory counts, and material movement.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD), U.S. Navy, NAVAIR, or Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs.
  • Experience using logistics, inventory management, or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems; familiarity with Navy Programs of Record such as NALCOMIS or NDMS is preferred.
  • Familiarity with transportation, freight management, shipping documentation, or export-related logistics processes.
  • Experience preparing logistics reports, tracking operational or inventory metrics, and analyzing logistics data.
  • Familiarity with DoD material accountability, inventory control, or audit-readiness requirements.
