Electronics Technician Level III - 3rd shift

1st Priority – Daily Execution

·  Program, Setup and Run surface mount and through hole equipment (screen printer, pick & place, re-flow oven)
·  Troubleshoot machine set up and workmanship problems  (process control)
·  New Product Development liaison for electronics

·  Order fixtures
·  Program equipment and develop process parameters

·  Back up Team Leader in their absence
·  Follow all department and company standards     

2nd Priority – People and Process Development
·  Train and mentor
·  Process optimization
·  Reduce setup time – internal and external
·  Utilize simple automation
 

3rd Priority – Continuous Improvement – Reduce Cost

·  Surface problems
·  Utilize PDCA to solve problems and drive improvements
·  5S
 

Education
·  Associate degree in electronics is a plus
·  Ability to read and understand schematics diagrams
 

Experience
· 1-3 years experience with SMT equipment – set up, running, and troubleshooting 
· 1-3 years experience with simple testing of circuit boards
· SMT programming desirable
