Architectural Design Associate

The Architectural Design Associate will work as an integral part of the In-House Architectural Design Team. The candidate should support the team in both the development and construction of new retail stores, and in the upkeep of existing retail locations. The candidate should be a team player with a strong design sensibility and excellent communication skills. In addition, the candidate should be thorough, detail-oriented, and have the ability to oversee multiple short and long-term tasks to completion.
 

• →Assist the team in all phases of design, from concept through design development and construction
• →Assist the team in communications with project-related consultants and vendors
• →Assist the team in coordinating and scheduling maintenance and logistics projects
• →Building, rendering, and maintaining 3D models
• →Drafting of architectural drawings and details
• →Preparing digital and physical design presentations
• →Maintaining sample and material library
• →Ordering new samples and shipping reference samples to vendors
• →Contribute to daily administration tasks on various projects such as organizing and creating new project files, downloading, uploading, and/or sending files, maintaining printed drawing sets for office use, plotting and printing drawings, etc.

• B. Arch or B.A in Architecture or credentials in Interior Architecture/Design

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe Creative Suite
• V-Ray experience is a plus

• 0 - 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably working in all phases of design
• Retail experience is a plus

• Strong production, technical and research skills
• General knowledge of construction
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with architectural and interior details
• Ability to prioritize in order to meet deadlines
• Ability to be a self-starter and proactive

The salary for this position is $28.00 hourly.
