More than 15 million users, over 300,000 companies, and 88 of the Fortune Global Top 100 rely on our products to solve real, complex problems. Our mission is simple: make development teams more productive and AI adoptable at scale.
Responsibilities
~1 min readAs JetBrains expands internationally, we need an adaptable legal counsel to step into our complex global architecture, navigate our fluid tech environment, and help us (re)build our cross-border frameworks and intra-group mechanisms into clear, scalable structures. In this broad role, you will have ownership of a diverse international entity portfolio and collaborate with global cross-functional teams.
You need to be a pragmatic team player who values project execution at every level - taking pride in driving cross-border projects, while staying completely comfortable executing the vital daily (administrative) corporate needs, policies, resolutions, and intercompany agreements that keep our global operations secure.
- Manage and coordinate international corporate legal workstreams, including from time to time entity incorporations, reorganizations, capital contributions, cross-border financing, and liquidations.
- Execute ongoing corporate maintenance and legal administration for group companies across various EU and non-EU jurisdictions, handling corporate needs, approvals, resolutions, and powers of attorney.

- A global-first mindset. You think in terms of international structures and multi-jurisdictional impacts, naturally looking at how local actions affect the global group.
- A balance of strategy and execution. You can run complex legal projects end-to-end and gladly handle the operational, hands-on administrative tasks required to complete them.
- Comfort with cross-functional work. You can navigate ambiguity, figure things out independently, and enjoy bringing order, logic, and structure to fluid environments.
- Clear, jargon-free communication. You translate dense legal realities into plain, actionable advice that cross-functional teams understand instantly.
- Strong project ownership. You take accountability for outcomes rather than just managing task lists, keeping parallel initiatives moving forward under tight deadlines and pro-actively collaborating with cross-functional teams to make it happen.
- A university degree in law and legal experience (3-5 years) focused on corporate law and international intra-group frameworks, ideally gained within a multinational tech environment or international law firm.
- Proven experience working with legislative systems across multiple jurisdictions (such as the Netherlands, China, USA or UK).
- Deep, practical knowledge of either Polish or Cypriot corporate law (experience in both is a massive plus).
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of coordinating multi-stakeholder legal workstreams globally.
- Professional fluency in English. Proficiency in an additional language - either Polish or Greek.
- A strong interest or practical experience in using legal automation, AI-assisted workflows, or knowledge-management tools to optimize processes.
- In your first 3 months: You will map out our global entity network, master our core intra-group operating models, and build strong ties with legal, tax and finance peers. You will begin taking direct ownership of ongoing corporate maintenance for your primary jurisdictions and supporting on a global level.
- In your first 6 months: You will independently drive more international corporate projects, such as cross-border reorganizations or structural updates together with other teams. Drafting, reviewing, researching and providing all other necessary legal support to successfully conclude the project.
- Over time: You will serve as a key player in for the corporate team in JetBrains' international architecture, successfully supporting and working on multi-jurisdictional legal workflows and projects independently while actively maintaining the legal compliance of your primary jurisdictions.
