As a Maintenance Mechanic at JLL, you'll keep our commercial properties running smoothly through hands-on maintenance and repair work. You'll tackle diverse tasks—from painting and plumbing repairs to lighting maintenance and tenant service requests—ensuring our spaces remain functional and safe. Your work directly impacts the experience of building occupants, making every repair and inspection an opportunity to demonstrate care and technical expertise. This position operates under the Local 99 Collective Bargaining Agreement.

 

Shift Monday to Friday 8:00 to 5:00

Salary $42.09 hourly

 

Responsibilities

  • →Assist the engineering team with maintenance and repair of building systems and equipment
  • →Complete painting, pressure cleaning, minor plumbing repairs, locksmith work, and tenant service requests
  • →Perform interior maintenance including hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, and repairing office furniture
  • →Maintain lighting systems by replacing bulbs and ballasts throughout the property
  • →Conduct property inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues early
  • →Comply with all safety procedures while maintaining clean, organized work areas
  • →Participate in ongoing technical and safety training programs to advance your skills

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry
  • Must possess EPA Universal CFC certification
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders up to 30 feet tall
  • Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift, and drive
  • Strong customer service skills and professional communication
  • Capability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Trade school certification, union training, or military service background
  • College coursework or degree in a related field
  • Experience in commercial real estate or corporate office environments

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

87,547.00 – 87,547.00 USD per year

Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
