Warehouse Operations Associate

What your day-to-day will look like:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely to move, stack, and organize inventory.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments while verifying quantities and inspecting materials for damage.
- Sort, organize, and distribute packages and mail to designated departments and locations throughout the facility.
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and delivery documentation, including logs and shipment records.
- Support warehouse organization by maintaining clean work areas, clear aisles, and properly stored inventory.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and required PPE guidelines during daily operations.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience.
- Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the work shift.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to use inventory tracking or shipping systems.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating multiple types of material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.
- Previous experience in a corporate, facilities management, or commercial real estate environment.
- Bilingual communication skills.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving best practices and package handling procedures.
- Experience supporting inventory counts and cycle count activities.
- Strong teamwork and customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
Location:
Wilmington, NC
Work Shift:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with occasional overtime and schedule flexibility during peak operational periods.
