Account Director

This role offers an opportunity to lead a high-profile commercial healthcare account while serving as a senior strategic partner to clients. You will provide both strategic direction and operational leadership across integrated communications programs supporting brand and business objectives. Working closely with creative, digital, scientific, and client service teams, you will translate client needs into effective multi-channel solutions. The position combines relationship management, financial oversight, project leadership, and business development in a fast-paced agency environment. You will anticipate challenges, identify opportunities for account growth, and ensure programs are delivered to a high standard. The role also provides an opportunity to coach client services professionals and contribute to a collaborative, cross-functional team.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• 6+ years of experience in healthcare communications, advertising, or a related agency environment.
• Experience supporting commercial pharmaceutical or healthcare accounts.
• Strong understanding of integrated commercial communications and experience delivering programs across multiple channels.
• Demonstrated success in client relationship management, strategic consulting, and account growth.
• Experience leading teams and developing client services professionals.
• Strong project and financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability management, invoicing, and statement of work development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong organization and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to anticipate client and project needs.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative agency environment.
