Build, optimize, and maintain advanced SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis.
Perform exploratory analyses and diagnostics to address business questions and identify relevant insights.
Investigate discrepancies and inconsistencies across data sources, identifying root causes and proposing appropriate corrections.
Analyze large datasets to uncover patterns, opportunities, risks, and trends that can support business decisions.
Develop ad hoc studies and analytical solutions with a high degree of independence and limited day-to-day direction.
Ensure the quality, reliability, consistency, and traceability of information used in analyses and reports.
Document business rules, assumptions, methodologies, findings, and analytical results to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
Present conclusions, insights, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Prioritize and execute project demands independently while adapting to a dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytical solutions, data practices, and project outcomes through data-driven recommendations.

Requirements

Proven experience working as a Mid-Level Data Analyst or in a comparable data-focused role.
Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to create complex queries and optimize them for performance.
Practical experience with GCP and BigQuery, or comparable cloud data platforms and analytical environments.
Strong knowledge of data manipulation, cleansing, validation, and quality assurance practices.
Experience with relational databases and fundamental data modeling concepts.
Experience conducting exploratory analysis and investigating business problems through data.
Knowledge of Power BI for consuming, validating, and interpreting business indicators and dashboards.
Understanding of query performance and optimization best practices.
Experience documenting analytical processes, business rules, assumptions, and results.
Proficiency with SQL, GCP/BigQuery, Power BI, and Excel.
Strong analytical and logical reasoning, with attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
Ability to quickly understand business contexts and data environments and translate ambiguous questions into practical analytical solutions.
Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical findings and recommendations to different audiences.
Autonomy, organization, adaptability, and a proactive approach to managing priorities and delivering results.
