The Digital Product Manager II will independently lead digital products from planning through execution, delivery, and performance measurement.
This role focuses on growing and optimizing digital experiences that increase awareness, engagement, adoption, and customer satisfaction.
You’ll translate business goals and customer needs into clear product roadmaps, prioritized backlogs, and actionable initiatives.
The position combines product management, Agile delivery, customer journey mapping, UX, analytics, and continuous improvement.
You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, agencies, and cross-functional delivery partners.
The role offers an opportunity to influence digital strategy while navigating complex priorities and evolving market and technology trends.
Success requires a customer-focused, data-informed product leader who can turn ambiguity into practical, measurable outcomes.

  • Lead digital products and initiatives from planning through execution, coordinating deliverables, communication, dependencies, and results tracking.

  • Drive product growth and optimization with a focus on awareness, engagement, adoption, self-service, customer experience, and product maturity.

  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps and prioritized backlogs that reflect organizational objectives, product strategy, customer needs, and market trends.

  • Identify digital-first opportunities and facilitate customer journey mapping to uncover experience gaps, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Monitor emerging technologies, competitive developments, market trends, and digital capabilities to inform product definition and innovation.

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into prioritized digital initiatives and requirements.

  • Communicate project progress, successes, challenges, timelines, dependencies, and resource requirements to maintain alignment and transparency.

  • Balance competing priorities across the digital product portfolio while coordinating day-to-day work with external agencies, IT partners, and vendors.

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and represent the digital product team in discussions with technology and IT partners.

  • Prioritize, assign, and balance work through Agile Azure DevOps boards while collaborating with Scrum, Solutions Architecture, and Technology leads.

  • Apply Lean Management and Design Thinking principles to solve problems, navigate ambiguity, and develop innovative customer-focused solutions.

  • Evaluate the business value of digital initiatives while ensuring alignment with applicable regulatory requirements and customer experience objectives.

  • Support digital quality assurance, user acceptance testing, analytics, research, prototyping, and ongoing product improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Human Factors, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field preferred.

  • At least 5 years of professional experience working on digital projects, with demonstrated experience translating business requirements into user-focused digital solutions and technical specifications.

  • Strong project planning and project management experience; experience leading teams or large-scale initiatives is preferred.

  • Experience as a digital product owner or in a comparable product management capacity is preferred.

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum practices, including story writing, sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog prioritization.

  • Healthcare, HMO, managed care, or related industry experience is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of desktop and mobile web, Android and iOS applications, UX/UI, human factors, user research, prototyping, digital QA, analytics, and digital strategy.

  • Familiarity with digital product development, project management tools, and content management platforms such as Azure DevOps, Strapi, or WordPress.

  • Strong understanding of Design Thinking, Information Architecture, taxonomy, mobile application development, and web development best practices.

  • Ability to use data collection and analysis to support problem-solving, prioritization, and product decisions.

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, .NET, C#, Swift, APIs, web services, databases, or other technical concepts is advantageous.

  • Experience with UAT testing, troubleshooting, workflow design, and process planning.

  • Familiarity with Freshpaint, Mixpanel, or comparable product analytics platforms is a plus.

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint or Keynote, and Excel.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and explain complex topics clearly.

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment.

  • Willingness to travel when required by business needs.
