This is a senior commercial leadership role responsible for the strategic direction, growth, and retention of major corporate business partnerships.
You will oversee a national team of account managers while serving as an executive-level liaison for high-value customer relationships.
The role combines enterprise account strategy, business development, contract leadership, financial management, and customer engagement.
You will shape joint business plans, lead executive reviews, identify expansion opportunities, and develop innovative partnership models.

- Set and communicate the strategic vision for national customer account management, establishing priorities and approaches that support sustainable growth, retention, profitability, and customer value.
- Lead joint business planning and executive-level business reviews with major business partners, building trusted relationships with C-suite stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions.
- Oversee the development of proposals, business cases, RFP responses, and strategies for new or expanded enterprise partnerships.
- Use analytics, market intelligence, competitive insights, and financial information to identify opportunities and guide account and business decisions.
- Cultivate senior executive relationships across partner organizations and represent the organization at industry events, strategic meetings, and complex negotiations.
- Identify new business opportunities and oversee the expansion and innovation of existing partnerships, developing partnership models that create value for customers and the broader enterprise.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing national account management team, fostering collaboration, accountability, innovative thinking, agile execution, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with senior leaders across marketing, category, digital, finance, field sales, and other functions to develop and implement initiatives that strengthen customer and enterprise value.
- Oversee the negotiation and execution of complex, high-value contracts and national programs, ensuring appropriate compliance, risk management, and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Establish and monitor account management KPIs while driving performance against revenue, profitability, customer satisfaction, and other strategic objectives.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in B2B sales, account management, or general management, ideally within Fortune 500 organizations, premium or luxury brands, or the food and beverage sector.
- At least 2 years of experience leading national account management teams and managing multi-million-dollar business partnerships.
- Demonstrated success building executive-level relationships and negotiating complex, high-value contracts.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience with P&L responsibility and the ability to connect commercial decisions with financial outcomes.
- Broad understanding of marketing, operations, finance, competitive strategy, and enterprise business dynamics.
- Proven ability to lead through ambiguity, manage organizational change, and translate strategic priorities into measurable execution.
- Strong expertise in RFP processes, proposal development, enterprise sales cycles, and complex partnership development.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 30%, with preference for candidates located within reasonable commuting distance of an airport.
