This role offers the opportunity to lead technology transformation engagements that help organizations improve performance, operating effectiveness, and business outcomes.
You will work closely with senior technology leaders to shape strategies, operating models, governance frameworks, and transformation roadmaps.
The position combines client advisory, analytical problem-solving, project leadership, and people management.
You will collaborate with global consulting teams while guiding consultants and senior consultants based in India.
The role provides exposure to complex transformation initiatives spanning digital strategy, IT operations, sourcing, governance, and organizational change.
You will be expected to translate complex challenges into practical recommendations and support clients through implementation and continuous improvement.

Scope and plan client engagements, defining objectives, workplans, resources, timelines, budgets, and delivery standards.

Lead project teams to deliver high-quality client work within agreed budgets, schedules, and quality expectations.

Identify, analyze, and resolve issues that are critical to clients' strategic and operational performance.

Provide subject-matter expertise and develop high-quality strategic and functional content for client engagements.

Develop, communicate, and present conclusions, recommendations, and transformation roadmaps to senior client stakeholders.

Support implementation activities and help clients translate strategy into sustainable operational improvements.

Develop relevant industry insights, benchmarks, and perspectives to strengthen client recommendations.

Manage client relationships, maintain regular communication, and report engagement progress to stakeholders.

Lead, coach, develop, and supervise consultants and senior consultants, supporting their professional growth and day-to-day delivery.

Build and strengthen a local team of strategy and operations consultants supporting global technology transformation engagements.

Contribute expertise across areas such as IT operating models, digital transformation, application strategy, IT outsourcing, benchmarking, governance, change management, business relationship management, cost reduction, and agile IT operations.

Collaborate closely with international consulting teams and ensure effective coordination across geographies and time zones.
Requirements

7+ years of relevant strategy, transformation consulting, or progressive IT leadership experience, with a focus on assessments, analysis, problem framing, solution development, prioritization, roadmap creation, and transformation implementation.

Experience working directly with clients in a consulting, advisory, or senior technology leadership capacity; system integration-only experience is not the primary focus.

Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to turn complex business and technology challenges into actionable recommendations.

Demonstrated experience in strategy and operations within one or more relevant industries.

Expertise in one or more areas including IT operating models, digital transformation, application strategy and deployment, IT outsourcing advisory, IT benchmarking, process improvement, IT strategy, governance, organizational change, business relationship management, IT cost optimization, digital literacy, or agile IT operations.

Proven ability to manage project workplans, budgets, teams, priorities, and competing deadlines.

Strong people leadership skills, including experience coaching, developing, and supervising junior professionals.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence conducting stakeholder interviews, facilitating workshops, and delivering executive-level presentations.

Ability to operate independently while contributing effectively within collaborative, international teams.

Strong client-facing and relationship-management capabilities, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and build trust.

MBA or another relevant advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Sciences, or a related discipline from a strong educational institution is preferred.

Ability to work afternoon through late-evening India Standard Time hours to provide approximately 3–5 hours of overlap with U.S.-based colleagues.

Candidates based in Hyderabad are preferred; professionals based elsewhere in India may also be considered if willing to travel periodically to Hyderabad.
