This is a remote leadership opportunity within a global tax organization supporting complex international operations.
The role oversees international tax accounting activities, including worldwide tax provisions and emerging global tax requirements.
You will serve as a trusted partner to Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Legal, and external advisors.
The position combines technical tax expertise with people leadership, regulatory analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
You will play a key role in Pillar Two and GloBE tax calculations, statutory provisions, and tax compliance controls.
The role also provides an opportunity to influence tax planning, accounting practices, internal controls, and responses to evolving regulations.
You will report to the Director of International Tax while managing an international team based in Krakow.

  • Manage the international tax accounting function, including quarterly and year-end worldwide consolidated tax provisions under ASC 740.

  • Lead Pillar Two top-up tax and GloBE income calculations and related activities.

  • Apply advanced income tax accounting expertise to areas such as purchase accounting, valuation allowances, uncertain tax positions, and deferred taxes.

  • Coordinate with Treasury, Legal, Finance, Accounting, and external service providers to ensure tax provisions are completed accurately and on schedule.

  • Oversee preparation of international statutory tax provisions and related reporting activities.

  • Monitor tax regulations, accounting pronouncements, and changes in tax law, assessing their potential impact on the organization.

  • Manage tax-related internal controls and support SOX compliance requirements.

  • Develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships and provide tax guidance to business stakeholders.

  • Lead and support a team based in Krakow, providing direction, collaboration, and professional development.

  • Contribute to tax planning, forecasting, transaction analysis, and assessment of tax implications associated with new transactions and acquisitions.

Requirements

  • CPA certification and/or a Master of Science in Taxation (MST) or equivalent advanced tax qualification.

  • At least 6 years of corporate tax experience gained in Big Four public accounting and/or an in-house tax organization.

  • Advanced knowledge of US GAAP, particularly ASC 740, as well as applicable SEC requirements.

  • Extensive experience managing international income tax provisions and related accounting processes.

  • Strong understanding of complex income tax accounting, including deferred taxes, uncertain tax positions, valuation allowances, and purchase accounting.

  • Experience with Pillar Two, GloBE calculations, or other international tax developments is highly relevant.

  • Familiarity with tax provision and enterprise financial systems, including Oracle and OneSource Tax Provision or comparable solutions.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex tax and accounting requirements.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at different organizational levels.

  • Strong organizational and project-management skills, including the ability to manage deadlines across multiple international tax activities.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and collaborate with geographically distributed teams.

  • Ability to work effectively with Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Legal, external advisors, and other cross-functional partners.
