This full-time, remote role supports essential back-office operations across multiple financial services workflows.
You may work across areas such as ACH, wires, check processing, fiduciary servicing, legal processing, overdraft solutions, unclaimed property, and mobile or ATM deposits.
The role focuses on accurate transaction processing, exception management, account maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
You will help protect operational accuracy, minimize risk, and maintain a consistent member experience.
The position is cross-functional, with opportunities to cross-train and support different operational desks as business needs evolve.
Success requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, confidentiality, and a commitment to service quality.
This is a temporary assignment expected to continue through July/August 2027.

Process daily operational work queues accurately and within established service-level agreements.
Perform account updates, corrections, verification activities, and maintenance requests in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance while maintaining audit-ready records and electronic documentation.
Research and resolve exceptions, discrepancies, and processing issues, escalating irregularities or potential risks when appropriate.
Follow up with members regarding account changes or identified issues, providing clarification and obtaining required approvals.
Apply applicable federal and state regulations, internal procedures, and operational controls consistently across assigned workflows.
Protect sensitive member information and maintain strict confidentiality throughout all processing activities.
Identify recurring issues, workflow challenges, and opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and clarity.
Participate in cross-training to provide support across multiple operational desks as priorities change.
Contribute to a collaborative, consistent, and service-oriented operations environment and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

1–2 years of work-related experience within a full-service financial institution or a related field is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of credit union products, services, procedures, guidelines, and field-of-membership requirements.
Strong understanding of regulations applicable to operational and transaction-processing responsibilities.
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences at different organizational levels.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy when handling financial transactions and sensitive information.
Ability to research discrepancies, identify potential risks, and escalate issues appropriately.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Working experience with Symitar for Windows (Episys) is preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities and service-level expectations.
