Senior Backend Engineer (Integrations)

This is a remote engineering role focused on expanding and strengthening enterprise integration capabilities.
You will design and build integrations connecting a core platform with a wide range of enterprise systems and tools.
The role spans the full integration lifecycle, from technical design and implementation through production monitoring and support.
You will collaborate closely with internal Product and Software teams as well as customer-side technical stakeholders.
Your work will contribute directly to reliable, scalable solutions used across areas such as CRM, customer service, field service, and asset management.
You will also help raise engineering standards through testing, code reviews, mentoring, and thoughtful technical design.

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 2 years building production systems with Python.
• Proven experience designing and consuming REST APIs, with experience owning at least one third-party integration end to end.
• Strong automated testing practices, including unit and integration testing as a standard part of development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, including compute services, message queues such as SQS, and managed databases.
• Strong understanding of designing distributed systems for availability, reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Ability to work directly with external technical stakeholders and translate ambiguous or complex requirements into practical technical designs.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and ownership skills.
• Experience with Salesforce or other partner ecosystems is a plus.
• Familiarity with multi-tenant connector frameworks, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, or B2B SaaS environments is an advantage.
