This is a senior communications leadership role with responsibility for shaping how a high-growth technology organization is understood by customers, employees, media, and other stakeholders.
You will own an integrated communications strategy spanning external, internal, executive, and crisis communications.
The role provides direct strategic counsel to the CEO and leadership team on narrative, messaging, timing, and stakeholder impact.
You will build media relationships, develop integrated campaigns, and turn company research, product developments, and thought leadership into compelling stories.
You will also lead executive communications and help establish a strong leadership voice across social media, media engagements, speaking opportunities, and internal communications.
The position offers significant autonomy in a fully remote environment while partnering closely with Marketing, Legal, People, Sales, and other teams.

Set, develop, and continuously refine an integrated communications strategy aligned with organizational priorities and business objectives.

Serve as a trusted communications advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team, providing guidance on narratives, messaging, timing, positioning, and stakeholder considerations.

Own media relations end-to-end, developing proactive relationships with journalists and producers across business, technology, workplace, and relevant trade publications.

Develop integrated communications campaigns in partnership with Product Marketing and Demand Generation, translating thought leadership, research, and product milestones into compelling external narratives.

Build and manage the CEO's communications platform across social media, company content, earned media, speaking engagements, and executive communications channels.

Own the executive editorial calendar and coordinate leadership communications across external and internal audiences.

Lead internal and executive communications for major organizational moments while maintaining consistency between employee-facing and external narratives.

Guide crisis and issues communications, coordinating responses with Legal, People, Sales, Marketing, and other relevant stakeholders.

Manage PR agencies and communications partners, establishing measurable objectives and tracking outcomes across earned media, executive visibility, and employee understanding.

Contribute to the evolution of the organization's market positioning and communications approach as the technology and talent landscape develops.
Requirements

15+ years of progressive communications experience across media relations, corporate communications, executive communications, and internal or change communications.

Significant in-house communications experience within a high-growth technology or B2B organization operating through periods of rapid growth or transformation.

Demonstrated success building strong journalist relationships and securing high-quality earned media coverage.

Proven ability to develop narratives and integrated campaigns that connect organizational strategy, products, and broader industry conversations.

Experience building executive platforms and coaching senior leaders for media interviews, speaking engagements, public communications, and high-stakes situations.

Exceptional writing, editing, and editorial judgment, with the ability to produce and oversee content ranging from executive social posts to company-wide communications.

Experience managing communications during periods of organizational growth, change, or heightened external attention, with strong discretion and sound judgment.

Experience managing PR agencies and external communications partners against defined goals and measurable outcomes.

Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, collaboration, and decision-making skills.

Ability to operate effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment with a high degree of autonomy.

Familiarity with how AI is influencing hiring, talent assessment, and workforce planning is a plus.
