Finance & AccountingFinancial Analyst

As a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A, you will play a key role in strengthening financial reporting, business analytics, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management across a growing, multi-entity organization.
Reporting to the VP of Financial Planning and Analysis, you will transform complex financial data from multiple systems into reliable insights that support strategic decision-making.
You will collaborate with business leaders to evaluate performance, identify financial trends, and develop actionable recommendations that improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Your responsibilities will span the full financial planning cycle, from annual budgets and rolling forecasts to variance analysis and liquidity planning.
You will also help modernize reporting processes through automation, standardized controls, and the thoughtful use of AI-powered tools.
Working in a fully remote, fast-paced environment, you will have the autonomy to improve financial processes and build scalable reporting solutions.
This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional who combines strong analytical skills, business acumen, and a passion for continuous improvement.

  • Financial data management and reporting: Own financial data integrity, reporting structures, and recurring management reports, ensuring that information is accurate, consistent, and accessible to decision-makers.
  • Consolidate, reconcile, and validate financial and operational data from multiple sources, including ERP systems, billing platforms, e-commerce tools, and spreadsheets, to establish a reliable source of truth.
  • Design, maintain, and enhance financial dashboards and reporting packages that provide timely visibility into business performance, operating metrics, and financial trends.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize, document, and automate recurring reporting activities, improving accuracy, efficiency, and scalability across the organization.
  • Business analytics and financial modeling: Partner with business unit leaders to assess financial performance, profitability, margins, cost drivers, and key operating metrics across multiple entities.
  • Develop financial and operational models to evaluate strategic initiatives, pricing decisions, workforce planning, resource allocation, and other business opportunities.
  • Translate complex financial analyses into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for senior leadership and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Monitor profit and loss (P&L) performance across business units, review monthly results, explain variances against budget and forecast, and identify emerging margin pressures or cost management opportunities.
  • Budgeting and forecasting: Lead or support the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to develop realistic, well-supported budgets aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Manage periodic forecast updates by incorporating actual results, evolving business trends, operational assumptions, and changing financial conditions.
  • Conduct variance analyses comparing actual performance with budgets and forecasts, clearly communicating the underlying causes, implications, and recommended actions.
  • Cash flow and liquidity management: Build and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts covering short-term and long-term financial horizons.
  • Monitor actual cash performance against projections, identify potential liquidity risks or opportunities, and communicate significant changes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support working capital analysis and liquidity planning to strengthen financial visibility and help ensure effective resource management.
  • Process improvement and technology: Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate financial modeling, data cleansing, analysis, and variance commentary while independently validating outputs for accuracy and reliability.
  • Strengthen financial controls, reconciliation processes, and reporting standards to support reliable decision-making in a rapidly growing, multi-state environment.
