As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will lead the implementation of polished digital experiences across a modern React and Next.js platform. You’ll turn ambitious designs into fast, accessible, responsive, and pixel-perfect customer-facing features from concept through production. Working closely with Design and Product, you’ll influence technical decisions early, resolve ambiguity, and take ownership of frontend quality across your squad’s surfaces. You’ll also contribute production-ready components to a shared design system, helping create consistent experiences across web applications. Through thoughtful code reviews, pairing, and mentoring, you’ll help raise frontend engineering standards across the team. This is a fully remote opportunity for an engineer who combines strong technical depth with a genuine passion for product and visual craft.

Lead frontend implementation of new features from Figma designs through production, ensuring high standards for visual fidelity, responsiveness, accessibility, and performance.
Own the frontend architecture behind assigned features, including state management, data fetching, rendering performance, and test coverage.
Build reliable interfaces that perform consistently across browsers and devices while maintaining strong Core Web Vitals.
Implement safe and measurable releases using feature flags, A/B testing, instrumentation, and clear rollback strategies.
Partner closely with Product and Design from the earliest stages to assess technical feasibility, clarify requirements, and resolve ambiguity.
Develop reusable React components for the shared design system while following established architecture, APIs, design tokens, theming, and documentation standards.
Create Storybook stories, usage guidelines, and code examples to support consistent adoption of shared components.
Conduct constructive code reviews focused on component quality, accessibility, maintainability, and visual fidelity.
Mentor other engineers through pairing and knowledge sharing while championing consistent use of the shared component library.
Contribute to continuous improvements in frontend engineering practices, architecture, and the overall quality of digital experiences.

Requirements

6+ years of professional experience in frontend engineering, with a strong portfolio or GitHub demonstrating frontend expertise and attention to UI quality.
Expert-level experience with React and Next.js, with TypeScript as a required technology.
Strong understanding of design systems, design tokens, reusable component architecture, and component API design.
Solid fundamentals in state management, data fetching, rendering performance, Core Web Vitals, and frontend testing.
Experience translating Figma designs and specifications into production-ready interfaces with a high degree of visual accuracy.
Experience with Storybook and at least one modern styling approach such as CSS-in-JS, CSS Modules, or Tailwind CSS.
Working knowledge of web accessibility standards, including WCAG.
Proven track record of delivering production frontend features end-to-end and on schedule.
Experience collaborating closely with designers and product managers throughout the product development lifecycle.
Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly explain technical and design trade-offs to engineering, Product, and Design partners.
Ability to contribute independently within an existing architecture while bringing thoughtful technical perspectives and constructive feedback.
Experience both giving and receiving feedback in a collaborative engineering environment.
Nice-to-have experience with animation and motion tools such as Framer Motion or GSAP, high-growth DTC or e-commerce environments, headless Shopify, AI-assisted development tools, experimentation frameworks, or health, wellness, and science-focused consumer products.
