This role is focused on driving growth for specialized neonatal and pediatric nutrition solutions across healthcare accounts in the New England territory.
You will position and sell enteral feeding systems, pharmacy solutions, and related clinical products to hospitals and care facilities.
Working directly with NICU, PICU, pharmacy, infection control, purchasing, and value analysis stakeholders, you will build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
The position combines clinical and technical expertise with consultative selling, product presentations, in-service education, pricing, and contract management.
You will manage an assigned territory spanning Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and the Hudson Valley area.
Success will be measured through revenue and profit growth, strong account relationships, effective territory management, and achievement of sales objectives.
The role is well suited to a commercially driven healthcare professional who is comfortable working in hospital environments and traveling throughout the territory.

  • Position, analyze, demonstrate, and implement specialty nutrition products and solutions across Acute Care and Alternate Care accounts to support year-over-year sales growth.
  • Develop strong business-value selling skills and apply consultative sales approaches to communicate the clinical and commercial value of solutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of neonatal and pediatric enteral feeding systems, feeding tubes and accessories, enteral feeding syringes and pumps, oral/enteral pharmacy solutions, and related care kits.
  • Build and maintain high-value relationships with multiple decision-makers and influencers, including NICU managers, nurse educators, neonatologists, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, supply chain teams, value analysis, purchasing, and materials management.
  • Deliver product and clinical presentations, in-service education, and other customer-facing activities that support product adoption and account growth.
  • Develop and manage pricing and contract negotiations, working toward committed business and strong commercial outcomes.
  • Implement regional sales and business strategies designed to achieve territory and product-category objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with sales leadership, internal stakeholders, clinical specialists, and customers to identify opportunities and address account needs.
  • Use available sales and marketing resources effectively to support territory objectives and customer engagement.
  • Manage territory budgets and sales support resources in accordance with applicable compliance policies.
  • Participate with regional leadership in strategic and tactical sales planning, forecasting, reporting, and territory development.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports while identifying opportunities to increase revenue and profitability across the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 3 years of B2B or healthcare sales experience, with a demonstrated record of successful sales performance.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate continued personal and professional growth and development.
  • Strong proficiency with PC-based applications, including Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable working directly in hospital and clinical environments.
  • Proactive, commercially driven, and assertive approach to sales and account development.
  • Ability to manage a territory independently while collaborating effectively with regional and cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel by car throughout the assigned territory.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Medical device sales experience, particularly 5+ years, is preferred; capital equipment experience is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with digestive health products and related disease states is preferred.
  • Hospital sales experience is preferred.
  • Salesforce.com experience is a plus.
  • Experience working across multiple stakeholder groups and navigating complex healthcare purchasing processes is beneficial.
