This is a fully remote Systems Administration role focused on managing, securing, monitoring, and troubleshooting Windows-based client and internal IT environments. You will act as a technical escalation point for complex systems, endpoint, infrastructure, and security issues while helping maintain reliable IT services. The role combines hands-on systems administration with endpoint management, vulnerability remediation, automation, and cybersecurity operations. You will work closely with U.S.-based clients and technical teams, requiring strong English communication and a customer-focused approach. There is also an opportunity to improve operational efficiency through scripting, automation, and emerging technologies. The position operates within a 24/7 service environment and offers exposure to enterprise IT, cybersecurity, endpoint management, and managed services.
- Manage, monitor, maintain, configure, patch, and troubleshoot Windows servers, workstations, endpoints, and client environments.
- Resolve complex L2/L3 infrastructure and systems issues while monitoring system performance, availability, and overall health.
- Manage endpoint environments through discovery, monitoring, configuration assessment, software deployment, patch management, compliance activities, vulnerability remediation, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor and maintain endpoint and enterprise security platforms while supporting security hardening, endpoint investigations, incident response, and technical remediation.
- Work with technologies such as EDR, SIEM, ITDR, DNS filtering, application whitelisting, vulnerability management, and other security platforms.
- Use RMM and PSA platforms to monitor and manage client environments and maintain accurate technical documentation, configurations, procedures, and standard operating practices.
- Develop and optimize automation workflows using PowerShell, Python, or other scripting technologies to reduce repetitive tasks and improve service delivery.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation, AI-enabled tools, and emerging IT technologies.
- Communicate directly with U.S.-based clients when escalated or specialized technical support is required, clearly explaining technical issues and recommended solutions.
- Serve as a technical escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 teams, troubleshoot advanced issues, mentor junior team members, and contribute to technical procedures and best practices.
- Participate in scheduled after-hours, overnight, on-call, or rotating support as required within the assigned client or service timezone.
- Respond to critical incidents according to established escalation procedures and contribute to reliable 24/7 IT service delivery.
Requirements
~2 min read- 3–5+ years of hands-on Systems Administration experience, preferably in an MSP or managed IT services environment.
- Strong experience with Windows Server and desktop environments, endpoint management, patching, monitoring, and technical troubleshooting.
- Experience handling L2/L3 escalations and resolving complex infrastructure and systems issues.
- Knowledge of endpoint security, vulnerability identification, remediation, and security hardening.
- Experience with RMM, PSA, EDR, or related IT management and security platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work through complex technical issues independently.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including confidence communicating directly with U.S.-based clients and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong documentation, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote environment.
- Willingness and flexibility to work within an assigned client/service timezone and participate in a 24/7 support schedule when required.
- Hands-on Tanium experience is a strong plus, including advanced administration, certification, formal training, or experience managing Tanium across multi-client or enterprise environments.
- Experience with PowerShell, Python, Microsoft 365, Azure, cybersecurity operations, threat analysis, EDR, SIEM, ITDR, vulnerability management, automation, RPA, AI-based tools, or workflow automation is advantageous.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft, Tanium, or ITIL are beneficial.
- Strong interest in cybersecurity, automation, emerging IT technologies, and continuous technical improvement.
- Reliable computer or laptop, second monitor, stable high-speed internet connection, and a professional, secure remote workspace.
- Successful candidates must be prepared to complete a background check and provide valid police clearance or equivalent official criminal record clearance before final employment.
