Lead Plumbing Installer – Experienced Install Lead Wanted

Are you the installer other people count on to get the job done right?

John Owens Services is looking for a true Residential Lead Plumbing Installer — someone who can lead a job, teach an assistant, follow the plan, and finish installs on time without excuses.

This is not a position for someone who “kind of knows installs.” We need someone who can confidently install residential and (some) commercial Water Heater systems, as well other plumbing fixtures. We are looking for someone who can communicate clearly, keep the job moving, and represent the company professionally in a customer’s home.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Lead Plumbing Installer, you'll need to complete a variety of residential and light commercial installations, including:

• Tank and tankless water heaters
• Heat pump water heaters
  
• Boilers
• Toilets, faucets, fixtures, and pressure reducing valves (PRVs)
• Gas piping
• Water, sewer, and underground piping
• Whole-home re-pipes
• Other plumbing installation projects
  

No two days are exactly the same, which means you'll continually expand your skills while working on interesting projects.

What We're Looking For

• Has 3+ years of residential plumbing installation experience
• Can independently complete installations with minimal supervision
• Has experience installing a wide variety of plumbing fixtures and water heating equipment
• Leads by example and works well with an apprentice or helper
• Communicates professionally with homeowners
• Takes pride in clean, organized workmanship
• Understands plumbing codes and installation best practices
• Shows up on time and is dependable every day
• Holds themselves to a high standard of quality

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of residential plumbing installation experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and/or physical if required
• Excellent references
