Primary Location: United States (US) - Tennessee - Greeneville Function: Factory Engineering (CA) Title: Project Engineer - 119654 Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position ## Your Responsibilities As a Project Engineer for JD Greeneville located in Greeneville, TN, you will: * Plans, coordinates, and performs manufacturing and quality engineering work for Greeneville EPDP. * Contribute to the design of engineering solutions; * Design the feasibility testing approach and supervise its implementation to support the development and validation of engineering solutions. * Develop safe, high‑quality, and efficient assembly processes for new product programs. * In addition, support factory initiatives on outcomes of strategic planning as required. VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position ## What Skills You Need * Knowledge and experience of tasks/responsibilities related to John Deere PDP Manufacturing Design and Quality Integration lanes. * Competency in tech stack tools such as SAP, MPP, & PDM. (MRP/ERP - Mfg Process Planning Software - Parts Management/CAD Modeling) * Experience in development of tooling and equipment procurement. * Working knowledge of assembly torque and vision tools. ## What Makes You Standout * Data analysis and ability to formalize reports/information. * Understanding of capital procurement and proven project management skills. * Practice in risk management skills including D/S/P FMEA and SERA. * Knowledge and practice of Lean Manufacturing. ## Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent work experience in the following: * BS Mfg Technology/Industrial Systems or similar area of study or equivalent experience What You'll Get At John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
