Litigation Paralegal, Financial Mis-selling

• Law Degree (2.1 or above)

• Previous experience working in a law firm as a legal clerk in a fee earning capacity (preferably in civil/commercial litigation or financial mis-selling)

• →Request, chase, organise, review, and report on Data Subject Access Requests
• →Update and liaise with clients by phone and in writing
• →Maintain up-to-date diary and task lists
• →Regularly and effectively chase outstanding tasks
• →Actively progress cases
• →Assist fee earners with tasks on their cases
• →Draft and prepare claims for submission to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS), Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS), and for court issue
• →Draft letters of advice, witness statements, and collate relevant disclosure documents
• →Analyse limitation issues on cases
• →Carry out case law research and report findings
• →Provide excellent customer service and communicate with clients
• →e-File in the High Court and County Court
• →Clearly document all information in the case management system
• →Track and meet all procedural, limitation, and court deadlines
• →Provide status updates

• Job Type: Full-time, fully office-based
