Sterile Processing Tech

• →Decontaminates, assembles and sterilizes instrumentation according to national guidelines and internal standards.
• →Operates departmental equipment within appropriate guidelines/policies/procedures.
• →Demonstrates high levels of quality control by following departmental policies/procedures and thorough documentation of sterilization process.
• →Effectively prioritizes and communicates customer needs within the department and with customers.
• →Assists in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• →Understands and identifies instrumentation and equipment utilized in all customer areas.
• →Performs other assigned duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager related to Sterile Processing.
• →Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

• High School Graduate
• Sterile Processing Technician or Surgical Technologist experience or current enrollment or completion of a Sterile Processing Certification program

• 1 or more years experience as Sterile Processing Technician

• Certified Registered Central Service Technician(CRCST) - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) upon Hire

• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) (DO NOT USE) - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) within 1 Year
