Keeley Companies is looking to hire a Benefits Specialist to our team in St. Louis, Missouri.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day administration of team member benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement, and other company-sponsored benefits.
- Assist team members with benefit questions, enrollment issues, eligibility questions, billing concerns, and general benefit education.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s benefit offerings to provide accurate and timely support to team members and managers.
- Process and review benefit enrollments associated with new hires, qualifying life events, and other eligibility changes.
- Support the annual Open Enrollment process, including enrollment administration, communications, system updates, and issue resolution.
- Assist with the annual benefit renewal process, including gathering information, coordinating documentation, and supporting implementation of plan changes.
- Assist with the administration of the company’s self-insured health plan, including reporting, reconciliation, audits, and related administrative activities.
- Support benefit financial processes by gathering data, reconciling information, researching discrepancies, and preparing information for review.
- Conduct monthly benefit audits to ensure enrollment, eligibility, deductions, and carrier information are accurate.
- Review daily UKG-to-CMIC feeds and assist with researching and correcting benefit-related discrepancies.
- Monitor daily API transactions for errors and coordinate resolution of benefit-related issues.
- Manage weekly WEX contribution files and reconcile contribution information as needed.
- Monitor benefit eligibility for Class 2 team members and provide managers with monthly updates regarding eligible team members who have not completed enrollment.
- Administer dependent eligibility verification, including SSN validation, supporting-document review, and approval or denial of verification requests.
- Process and maintain benefit-related documentation, including triggered document uploads to the appropriate document management system.
- Coordinate annual physical documentation uploads and tracking associated with company benefit and wellness programs.

Support administration of the company’s 401(k) plan, including enrollment approvals, rollover forms, quarterly entry communications, and team member questions.

Coordinate quarterly 401(k) eligibility and new entry communications
- Work collaboratively with benefit carriers, brokers, third-party administrators, Payroll, HRIS, and other People Operations team members to research and resolve benefit-related issues.
- Support benefit compliance activities, audits, reporting, recordkeeping, and required documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality of team member benefit, dependent, financial, and health-related information.
- Support benefit-related projects, vendor implementations, system enhancements, audits, and other People Operations initiatives as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

1-3 years experience

Spanish speaking would be a plus

UKG experience would be a plus

Ability to travel to assist with onsite enrollment
