The Associate Manager, Product Development will be responsible for supporting the Ole Henriksen product development team. The Associate Manager will oversee day-to-day development responsibilities, including communicating with external vendors, partnering with internal cross-functional partners, attending and contributing in cross-functional meetings, tracking to and meeting key development dates, and supporting the Vice President, Product Development and Manager, Product Development as needed.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Manage and support on-going and new formula development projects.
- →Partner with cross-functional team members on PD related tasks and projects, e.g. product briefs, formula evaluation, copy and claims development, product artwork, and regulatory deliverables.
- →Monitor and maintain on-time delivery of critical project milestones.
- →Manage daily communication with external partners to help manage and support development and testing.
- →Coordinate and manage formula submission evaluations, ensuring that samples are distributed and feedback is collected in a timely manner.
- →Create product samples for meetings and presentations.
- →Oversee day-to-day product development operations, including sending shipments, organizing supply closet, organizing product samples, and miscellaneous office tasks.
- →Support the Ole Henriksen product development team in day-to-day tasks and responsibilities.
Requirements
~1 min read- College degree with 3+ years of product development work experience preferred
- Passionate about skincare and the beauty industry
- A self-starter, able to work independently and take initiative
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities, and prioritize
- Ability to work in and thrive in a fast-paced, often-changing collaborative environment
- Creative problem solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Exceptional written, interpersonal and communication skills
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
