We are growing quickly and looking for an exceptional Data Management & Research Contractor (EMS Guru) (EMS Group) to support an internal platform rollout on a full-time, three-month contract.
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented data professional to help clean, enrich, and centralize expert data across internal systems, improving the quality, consistency, and completeness of information used for search, reporting, and business workflows
The Data Management & Research Contractor will sit within Keystone’s New York City office and help improve expert data across Salesforce, Excel, internal trackers, and other systems. This role will support the rollout of a centralized internal platform by ensuring data is accurate, well-structured, and ready for use by stakeholders across the business.
This role is well suited to someone who enjoys high-volume data work, takes pride in precision, and is comfortable combining structured data clean-up with targeted external research and proactive stakeholder follow-up. The role is full-time at 40 hours per week for an initial three-month contract, with potential for extension. New York City on-site availability is preferred.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Clean, validate, and standardize expert data in Salesforce and other internal systems.
- Consolidate data from multiple sources, including Salesforce, Excel, internal trackers, and related files, into a centralized system.
- Ensure expert data is accurate, complete, consistently structured, and usable for search, reporting, and internal platform workflows.
- Identify data inconsistencies, duplicates, and gaps, and resolve issues with a high level of accuracy and documentation.
- Conduct external research to fill gaps in expert profiles, including education, experience, publications, and other relevant background information.
- Review available source information and apply judgment to determine what should be added, corrected, or escalated.
- Maintain consistent standards for profile completeness and quality across large volumes of records.
- Gather missing internal data, such as project history, ownership, rates, and related context, by coordinating with Keystone team members.
- Follow up with stakeholders in a clear, professional, and organized way to keep data clean-up work moving forward.
- Support the rollout of a centralized internal platform by preparing data for migration, search, reporting, and ongoing maintenance.
- Help document repeatable processes and flag opportunities to make data management more efficient over time.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Ability to work independently and manage high-volume data tasks with accuracy and consistency.
- A proactive communication style and comfort following up with stakeholders to gather missing information.
- Experience working with tools such as Salesforce, Excel, Airtable, or similar data management platforms.
- Experience in data cleaning, data entry, database management, research operations, or a similar role.
- Comfort conducting external research and translating findings into clean, structured profile data.
- Familiarity with automation, scripting, or LLM tools is a plus.
- Availability for a full-time, 40-hour-per-week, three-month contract; New York City on-site availability is preferred.
