PacArctic, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company is seeking dedicated Security Specialists to support critical security operations at a government facility at U.S. Army Garrison Humphreys, Republic of Korea. This position will perform essential security functions including access control, Electronic Security Systems (ESS) monitoring, personnel escort duties, and inspection of protected areas. The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in security systems operations and demonstrate strong attention to detail in maintaining facility security protocols. Primary working hours are Monday through Friday between 0600-1700 and coverage will be split between four shifts of four Security Specialists. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.      This position is covered under the Service Contract Act. We offer competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, 401K with company matching, paid holidays, paid Vacation, paid sick leave and more.   Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: The Security Specialist will perform critical security operations supporting access control to protected areas and ensuring the safety and security of government facilities, personnel, and assets. This position operates under the supervision of the Site Security Manager and Assistant Site Security Manager. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Operate and monitor Electronic Security Systems (ESS) to detect and respond to security incidents Perform access control duties for personnel entering and exiting protected areas Verify credentials, badges, and authorization for facility access Conduct inspections of Perimeter Detection Systems (PDS) to ensure operational integrity Inspect access points throughout the facility to identify and report security vulnerabilities Escort visitors and unauthorized personnel through protected areas as required and time allows Monitor security cameras, alarms, and other surveillance equipment Maintain accurate logs and documentation of security activities, incidents, and access control Respond to security alarms and investigate potential security breaches Report security incidents and anomalies to supervisory personnel Enforce facility security policies, procedures, and regulations Conduct routine security patrols of assigned areas Assist in emergency response situations as directed Maintain professional demeanor and provide customer service to facility personnel and visitors Participate in security training and professional development activities Perform other security-related duties as assigned   Education and Experience: Required: High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution Minimum of two (2) years of experience in security systems operations   Clearance Requirement: Secret Security Clearance     Desired: Associate's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field Military security operations experience Experience working in government or DoD facility security environments Previous experience with Electronic Security Systems (ESS)   Required Skills and Competencies: Demonstrated experience operating and monitoring security systems and electronic surveillance equipment Strong attention to detail with ability to identify security risks and anomalies Excellent observational skills and situational awareness Ability to follow standard operating procedures and security protocols precisely Strong communication skills, both written and oral, for documentation and reporting Professional demeanor with strong customer service orientation Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Capability to remain alert and focused during extended periods of monitoring Physical ability to perform security duties including walking, standing for extended periods, and conducting patrols Ability to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as required Proficiency with computers and security management software Ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations Strong integrity and reliability with ability to handle sensitive information Capability to work in a team environment and coordinate with other security personnel   Desired Skills and Competencies: Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean (Note: 50% of the security team must be bilingual) For ESL speakers: TOEIC Listening and Reading score of 275 or greater and TOEIC Speaking and Writing Score of 120 (overall B1 level - independent English user). Scores must be maintained every two (2) years For Korean as second language: Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) Level 3 or higher. Scores must be maintained every two (2) years to count as bilingual speaker Experience with CCTV systems and video surveillance monitoring Knowledge of access control systems and badge reader technology Familiarity with intrusion detection systems and alarm monitoring Experience with PDS (Perimeter Detection Systems) inspection and maintenance Knowledge of Department of Defense security regulations and requirements Professional security certifications or training Experience in high-security or classified environments First Aid/CPR certification   Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy The company is an equal opportunity employer.
