Product Development, RTW Intern, Summer 2026

Founded in 2016 by creative director Catherine Holstein and based in New York, KHAITE evolves with each season, building upon a foundation of robust yet polished items distinguished by exceptional materials, exquisite craftsmanship, and subtle yet striking details. 

We are looking for a Product Development, RTW Intern to join the KHAITE team for this Summer Semester. This role will report to the Product Development Manager, RTW and will be based out of the NYC HQ offices. This internship is unpaid and for college credit only.

• →Coordinate sample launches, which involves preparing cut tickets, corrected patterns, sew-guides, mock-ups to execute the sample package preparations
• →Visit local factories / vendors daily for sample transportation & check in on development
• →Launch mock-ups, pattern plot outs, fabric fusing, etc.
• →Update digital design boards, WIPs. 
• →Maintain updates in PLM system - RLM (style entries, bom, cut tickets)
• →Organize sample racks for fittings as well as maintain working space

• Exceptional attention to details and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving and a sense of urgency
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• Currently enrolled for a Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in Fashion Design, Apparel Production, Technical Design, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of garment construction, fit, and product development; with a particular interest in woven materials
• New York domestic development experience is a plus
• Proficiency in PLM, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in RLM is a plus.
