Contract Type: Full Time Role: Quality Assurance Team Lead - Sensors Department: R&D / Engineering We are looking for a hands-on QA Team Leader to lead a team responsible for verification and validation of security sensors and peripheral devices within our R&D organization. This role combines technical leadership with active participation in testing activities. You will lead a team responsible for validating new product developments and supporting sustaining activities for existing sensor portfolios. The scope includes addressable sensors, wireless communication devices, motion detectors, door/window contacts, seismic sensors, signal repeaters, and other security system accessories. You will work closely with hardware, embedded software, system engineering, product management, and certification teams to ensure products meet quality expectations and regulatory requirements for European markets.   Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate a team of 4-5 QA engineers Define validation and verification strategies for new product developments Coach and mentor team members in testing methodologies and quality practices Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of QA engineers Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, test coverage, and efficiency Oversee verification and validation activities for security sensors and peripherals Review and approve test plans, test reports, and quality deliverables Validate functional behavior of wired and wireless security sensors Verify product operation under normal, fault, recovery, environmental, and long-term reliability conditions Support sustaining engineering activities for legacy sensor portfolios Drive root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions Work closely with hardware, firmware, system, and product teams Provide clear quality status, reporting, and release recommendations Contribute to product quality strategy within the R&D organization   Required Profile Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Verification & Validation, Testing, or Product Quality Experience testing hardware, embedded, electromechanical, or RF-based products Strong understanding of structured test methodologies and quality processes Experience translating requirements into verification and validation activities Practical hands-on experience in laboratory testing environments Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Ability to coordinate technical activities across multiple stakeholders Excellent communication and documentation skills Good command of English, both written and spoken   Additional Qualifications Previous experience leading engineers, project teams, or technical initiatives Experience with security, intrusion detection, fire, access control, or related industries Knowledge of wireless communication technologies and RF testing Experience with EN 50131 or comparable certification frameworks Test automation experience using Python or LabView Experience with Atlassian toolchain (Jira, Confluence) Familiarity with reliability, environmental, and compliance testing   We Offer Stable employment in a mature engineering environment Opportunities for career growth and professional development A culture that encourages independence, creativity, and continuous learning Competitive salary and benefits package:  Meal Vouchers LuxMed Medical Insurance MultiSport Card IKE/IKZE Additional Pension Contribution Individuals may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on both individual and company’s performance.
