Construction Labourer – Calgary Aggregate Recycling

Calgary Aggregate Recycling (CAR) is looking for a Construction Labourer to join our growing team!

Responsibilities

• Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, compact and level earth
• Safely work around heavy equipment and trucks
• Use hand tools such as picks, shovels, and rakes
• Perform tasks such as lawn maintenance and painting
• Assist with traffic control/flagging (experience an asset)
  
  

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience working with crushing equipment
• Physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Reliable transportation to and from site
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Previous labourer or construction experience preferred
• First Aid and H2S tickets are assets
• Must comply with CAR’s zero-tolerance policy and complete pre-employment drug & alcohol testing and fit testing
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and critical-thinking skills
