We are seeking a detail-oriented and English-proficient Content & Video Quality Control Specialist to join our Post-Production team. This is a remote role, best suited for someone who thrives in an independent work environment, has a strong eye for detail, and is passionate about maintaining top-tier video quality. You will be responsible for reviewing video content at various stages—raw footage, storyboard drafts, and final course videos ensuring all output meets KnowledgeCity’s predefined quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Review raw course videos for audio/visual issues, including talent mistakes, background noise, syncing problems, and on-screen content mismatches.
- Create and annotate storyboards using Boords to guide video editors in the post-production process.
- Watch the final course versions and verify that:
- Voiceover and visuals are aligned
- Icons, slides, and animations appear at the correct times
- Brand and instructional standards are consistently applied
- Identify and document inconsistencies, errors, or areas of improvement in a clear and actionable manner.
- Collaborate closely with video editors, project managers, and instructional designers to ensure seamless post-production workflow.
- Follow and help evolve QC checklists, documentation, and processes.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with cross-functional teams across different time zones.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot visual, audio, and linguistic inconsistencies.
- Strong understanding of video formats, pacing, transitions, and narration sync.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while meeting tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with Boords and other storyboard tools (training will be provided if needed).
- Comfortable using platforms such as Google Drive, ClickUp, and feedback documents.
- Prior experience in content writing, post-production QC, e-learning, or related fields is a plus.
