Deal Desk sits within the GTM Strategy & Operations organization at Komodo Health, playing a vital role in structuring, reviewing, and approving strategic commercial agreements. We partner closely with Sales, Legal, and Finance to ensure every deal is aligned to our business goals, pricing strategy, and compliance standards.
As a Deal Desk Manager, you will serve as a key advisor and operational driver in the deal structuring process. You’ll be hands-on in guiding complex deals from initiation through approval, ensuring our approach balances customer needs, revenue growth, and governance requirements. This role requires both deep functional expertise and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Independently managed the day-to-day execution of the deal desk function, successfully guiding high-value and strategic deals through the sales cycle.
- Built trust-based relationships with Sales leadership, Legal, and Finance, serving as a go-to partner for deal structuring and approvals.
- Developed expertise in our pricing models, discount frameworks, and approval policies, proactively resolving deal-related issues and sales escalations.
- Created a repeatable framework to evaluate the ROI and strategic fit of deals.
- Identified and implemented process improvements to streamline internal workflows and reduce deal cycle time.
- Serve as the operational owner for reviewing, structuring, and approving complex commercial agreements.
- Partner with internal teams to design pricing proposals, discount constructs, and commercial terms that align with business objectives.
- Evaluate deal ROI and provide actionable recommendations to optimize deal outcomes.
- Ensure deal compliance with internal policies, contractual requirements, and revenue recognition standards.
- Act as a subject matter expert on deal desk processes, coaching sales team members on best practices and requirements.
Responsibilities

- →Experience working closely with GTM, Legal, and Finance teams to facilitate complex deal execution.
- →Proven ability to manage multiple deals in parallel, especially during high-volume periods such as month-end and quarter-end.
- →Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating competing priorities with professionalism and sound judgment.
- →Problem-solving mindset with a customer-centric approach and the ability to balance speed with compliance.
- Leverage approved AI tools to accelerate document review while maintaining final human judgment.
- Use AI-driven analytics to model pricing scenarios and evaluate deal profitability, supporting faster and more informed decision-making.
- Apply AI-based search and summarization tools to quickly extract key terms, clauses, and historical deal data from internal repositories.
- Utilize AI assistants to draft and refine proposal language, ensuring alignment with Komodo’s brand and compliance standards.
- Incorporate AI insights into deal tracking and forecasting, identifying trends and potential risks early.
- Continuously identify opportunities to embed AI into deal desk workflows to improve speed, accuracy, and overall efficiency.

The pay range for each job posting reflects a minimum and maximum range of annual base pay that we reasonably expect to pay for this position within the US. We carefully consider multiple business-related factors when determining compensation, including job-related skills, work experience, geographic work location, relevant training and certifications, business needs and market demands.
The starting annual base pay for this role is listed below. This position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses as determined in the Company’s sole discretion and in accordance with a written agreement or plan. This role may also be eligible for equity awards. In addition, this role is eligible for benefits including, but not limited to, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance; flexible time off and holidays; 401(k) with company match; disability insurance and life insurance; and leaves of absence in accordance with applicable state and local laws and regulations and company policy.
