Supervisor II - Work Shop In-Charge

Supervise and coordinate workshop operations to ensure timely repair, fabrication, and maintenance support for plant equipment. Plan and allocate daily tasks, authorize work orders, verify quality and compliance with standards, and liaise with production and maintenance teams to deliver reliable workshop services. Plan and coordinate maintenance of vehicles, heavy mobile equipment, machining and fabrication activities, and ensure spares are repaired or refurbished to support plant requirements. Assist the superior in preparing planned maintenance and annual shutdown work, and control task completion within the required schedule.

The Workshop Supervisor is responsible for daily supervision of heavy vehicles, DG sets repair and maintenance, fabrication, machining jobs, and workshop-related tasks. The role is authorized to assign jobs, approve minor operational activities, and monitor documentation; major modifications, budget approvals, or process changes must be escalated to senior engineers or department heads.
