We are seeking an experienced NSX Network / VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 9.0) Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python scripting, Ansible automation, and CI/CD pipelines to design, implement, and maintain scalable network automation solutions across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain network automation solutions using Python, Ansible, and PowerCLI.
• Automate infrastructure deployment, configuration, provisioning, monitoring, and operational workflows.
• Develop and manage automated processes for network configuration management and compliance enforcement.
• Integrate network platforms with automation and orchestration frameworks using REST APIs, NETCONF, and infrastructure programmability tools.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable automated testing, validation, and deployment of network infrastructure changes.
• Implement scalable automation frameworks to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Ensure consistent enforcement of network policies, security standards, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to optimize VMware-based environments.

Required skillset:

• Minimum 8+ years of experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python scripting and Ansible automation.
• Experience with VMware NSX-T including: Network virtualization Micro-segmentation Distributed Firewall (DFW)
• Proficiency in network automation technologies such as Power CLI, Python, and Ansible.
• Experience working with REST APIs, NETCONF, and infrastructure-as-code/programmability concepts.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP Routing & Switching VLANs VPNs BGP OSPF
• Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 9.0) environments.
• Hands-on experience with: VMware vSphere ESXi
• Understanding of network security principles, protocols, and compliance standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise-scale VMware and NSX deployments.
• Knowledge of automation and orchestration platforms across hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Experience with network monitoring, observability, and automated remediation solutions.
• Relevant certifications such as: VMware Certified Professional (VCP) VMware VCAP VMware NSX Certification Cisco CCNP/CCIE Red Hat Ansible Automation Certification
• Experience supporting highly regulated environments with strong security and compliance requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
