As a Security Service Manager, you will be the senior Kyndryl service focal point for the security services delivered through a managed services engagement. You will coordinate security operations across network, systems, cloud, digital workplace, identity, and platform teams, ensuring service quality, operational resilience, and continuous improvement.
You will provide leadership across cross-functional teams, manage risk-based priorities, and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, vendors, auditors, and technical teams. Success in this role is demonstrated through measurable service outcomes, improved security operations, effective governance, and strong stakeholder confidence.
Responsibilities
~1 min read• Lead day-to-day delivery of managed security services across multiple technology domains.
• Coordinate security operations, vulnerabilities, audit remediation, and risk management activities.
• Govern vulnerability remediation, exception management, and security service improvements.
• Act as the primary coordination point during security incidents and major events.
• Manage audit readiness, evidence collection, and compliance activities.
• Review security-related changes and ensure appropriate governance, validation, and controls.
• Support resilience, continuity, and disaster recovery planning activities.
• Build strong relationships with security stakeholders, vendors, and service owners.
• Coach engineers and foster an inclusive, high-performing team culture.
• Develop reporting and dashboards that provide visibility into risks, incidents, vulnerabilities, and service performance.

Requirements
~1 min read• Experience leading enterprise security services or managed security delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of security operations, vulnerability management, IAM/PAM, incident management, audit processes, and service continuity.
• Ability to lead stakeholders through complex incidents and operational challenges.
• Experience using ITSM processes, metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical and executive audiences.
• Experience collaborating across multiple technical teams and external partners.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or regulated environments.
• Experience with identity, cloud, endpoint, network security, SIEM, or observability technologies.
• Experience leading service transition, stabilization, and improvement initiatives.
• ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent service management experience.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CCSP.
