Role Purpose

You will give LA28 a clear, data-driven view of how its venue infrastructure program is tracking toward the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. As Senior Manager, Infrastructure Program Management, Planning and Reporting, you shape program plans, schedules, and resourcing across temporary and permanent infrastructure, and turn program data into reports and recommendations for senior executives. You work with teams in-house, contracted, and remote with a one LA28 mindset, helping leaders make timely, well-informed decisions about program scope, schedule, cost, and risk.

 

Key Responsibilities

·       Build and maintain infrastructure program plans, covering scoping, resourcing, scheduling, and stakeholder management across temporary and permanent works 

·       Report program data across the organization, preparing clear, accurate reports and recommendations for LA28 leadership and delivery teams.

·       Prepare agendas, recommendations, and action plans for senior executives across multiple functional areas.

·       Develop dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent tools to track milestones, risks, and program performance.

·       Identify program risks, recommend mitigations, and help teams implement and manage change effectively.

 

Required Competencies

·       Minimum 7 years of industry experience in infrastructure, construction planning, and program management, preferably with two years leading teams 

·       Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or business management; or 7 years of equivalent experience in infrastructure program management.

·       Strong project management skills in scoping, resourcing, scheduling, and stakeholder management across temporary infrastructure and permanent construction.

·       Strong Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent experience, and fluency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, and SharePoint.

·       Strong experience reporting data across the organization and preparing reports and recommendations for leadership.

 

Valued Experience

·       Previous Olympic, Paralympic, or other major sports event experience.

·       Relevant project management certifications.

·       Demonstrated commitment to co-creation and collaborative decision-making.

·       Extremely detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

·       Self-starter experience defining tasks, seeking feedback, and evolving work.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

·       Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office.

·       The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.

·       The LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.

·       Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.

·       Perform other duties as required; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

 

Compensation

The annual base salary range for this position is $105,000 – $140,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28's operational business needs and applicable law.
