We are seeking a Real Estate Asset Management Analyst to support the financial analysis and reporting functions behind a portfolio of commercial real estate assets under development and in operation. This role sits at the center of investments, design & construction, asset management, and accounting, translating complex property performance into clear analysis for investment decisions.

What you'll do
- Cash Flow Modeling & Valuation — Build and manage complex Excel-based acquisition and development cash flow models for commercial real estate assets, determining exit value, return-on-cost, IRR, equity multiple, net cash flow, and fair market value.
- Investment Committee & Investor Reporting — Prepare detailed monthly reporting for Investment Committee, plus quarterly and annual fund investor reporting materials and fund closing activities.
- Asset & Lease Analysis — Analyze operational and lease structures, financial statements, and tenant credit across multifamily, student housing, condominium, office, retail, industrial, and hospitality assets.
- Operating Performance & Property Manager Feedback — Review operating performance across asset classes and provide feedback to property managers to improve results.
- Development Support & Compliance Monitoring — Assist partners with pre-opening activities for assets under development, maintain a strong grasp of governing legal agreements, and monitor assets for compliance with financial covenants.
- Market Benchmarking & Cross-Team Coordination — Collect and analyze comparable market data to benchmark operations and exit value, and support clear communication across Asset Management, Investments, and Design + Construction, alongside ad hoc financial reporting as needed.
What you'll bring
- Direct, hands-on experience building and managing complex Excel-based acquisition and development cash flow models for commercial real estate assets, both under development and operating.
- Proven track record preparing quarterly and annual fund reporting and detailed monthly Investment Committee reporting.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing operational and lease structures, financial statements, and tenant credit across multifamily, student housing, condominiums, office, retail, industrial, and hospitality assets.
- Strong analytical skills paired with a solid foundation in real estate asset management, real estate finance, and property operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across investments, design & construction, asset management, accounting, and compliance teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
