Responsibilities

  • →Answer incoming calls with enthusiasm and direct them appropriately.
  • →Welcome clients and ensure they are promptly attended to by the appropriate staff.
  • →Accurately enter patient information into our systems.
  • →Support the volunteer coordinator in managing volunteers effectively.
  • →Adhere to appointment and scheduling procedures as outlined by management.
  • →Manage client payments following established cash handling procedures.
  • →Efficiently perform opening and closing duties.
  • →Maintain a tidy, welcoming, and organized clinic lobby.
  • →Process lab results following the directions of the Practice Manager.
  • →Engage actively in the Performance Improvement Program to enhance service quality.
  • →Show respect and consideration to all patients, families, visitors, and staff.
  • →Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve departmental goals.
  • →Operate equipment and perform procedures safely and correctly.
  • →Report any safety concerns immediately and participate in safety training.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Pleasant, professional, and articulate phone voice.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle many incoming calls or patients at once.
  • Efficient and accurate data-entry skills.
  • Computer literacy and multi-line phone or switchboard experience.
  • Basic math, alphabetical or numerical filing knowledge may be required.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish required.
