Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our Finance leadership team. Reporting to the Global Controller, this role oversees accounting operations for the U.S. and Canada, including the consolidation of global entities. 

As a key business partner to the CFO, Global Controller, and Division Vice Presidents, you will deliver accurate financial reporting, meaningful analysis, and strategic insights that support business growth. This position also plays a critical role in strengthening financial processes, optimizing ERP system efficiency, developing accounting team members, and driving profitability improvements across the organization.

• Reports to: Global Controller 

• →Lead, develop, and inspire the Accounting Team to achieve departmental and organizational goals 
• →Ensure the timely and accurate month-end close process and consolidation of foreign subsidiaries 
• →Lead initiatives to understand, optimize, and streamline processes within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system 
• →Identify and investigate financial variances against budget; drive cost improvements through strong financial analysis and partnership with management 
• →Establish, document, and enforce accounting policies and procedures in accordance with U.S. GAAP 
• →Review all account reconciliations on a monthly basis 
• →Lead internal and external audit activities 
• →Prepare compliance reporting for banks and various government entities 
• →Develop and deliver financial reports and analytical insights 
• →Drive continuous improvements in financial reporting processes 
• →Stay current with new accounting standards and pronouncements 
• →Perform other duties as assigned 

Required 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 
• 10+ years’ experience in Accounting 
• Ability to effectively motivate, direct, and supervise staff 
• High attention to detail and accuracy 
• Advanced computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office 

Preferred 

• 2+ years’ experience in Public Accounting  
• CPA or Advanced Degree 
• Experience working for a Manufacturer 
• Experience with Microsoft D365 
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and consolidation of foreign subsidiaries
