In-Home Furniture Technician (Robinson, PA)

Ensures highest quality of product through inspection and repair in compliance with product handling and customer service standards in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner.

1. →Perform Essential Repairs on casegoods and upholstery: Repair crushed corners, burn-in dents and gouges; strip, sand and refinish tops; cut replacement glass and mirror plate; and install factory replacement tops; upholstered panels, springs, and mechanisms, rebuild upholstered frames, blind stitch fabric, repair leather scuffs and cuts.
2. →Inspect, evaluate, and repair of merchandise.
3. →Practice safe and secure material handling methods in accordance with product handling standards.
4. →Report errors found on documents to supervisor.
5. →Complete all documentation, including digital photos, neatly and accurately.
6. →Maintain accurate inventory of customer parts.
7. →Operate manual and mechanical equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
8. →Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
9. →Other duties as assigned.

1. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers using telephone.
2. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand , push, pull and lift cartons weighing approximately 50 - 100+ lbs. repetitively.
3. Ability to use vision to read documents and computer screen.
4. Ability to use hands to type information into computer.
