Responsible managing CPFR (Collaborative, Planning, Forecasting, Replenishment) activities with key accounts and maintaining forecast models incorporating business intelligence gathered from sales, marketing, finance, retailer replenishment analysts and other sources.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Gather and incorporate all source of market intelligence to produce the best possible operational forecast through internal CPFR tools and processes
- →Participate in weekly conference calls with internal/external customers to review sales, forecast, and commitments
- →Facilitate weekly meeting w/ sales teams & customers to generate consensus forecast (sell out/sell in)
- →Report all the necessary information for action plan, contingency plan, and to align on decision making w/ BM, PM, and sales team
- →Gather customer's needs and changes in demand as proactively as possible
- →Develop YOY analysis tool to compare and validate current forecast (based on promo, run rate, market situations, etc.)
- →Participate in meetings to help look for process improvement opportunities and ways to optimize network strategy with customers
- →Share all insights related to demand shift/shaping such as market condition, account specific trends, internal promotion changes, etc.
- →Use sales trend, business intelligence market data, machine learning suggestion, competition information shared by the customer
- →Negotiate with BM/PM teams to acquire allocations under factory constraint situations
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or relevant field
- 5+ years demand planning or relevant experience
- APICS certification preferred
- Must understand collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment (CPFR) to effectively manage forecast
- Strong written, verbal, and in-person communication skills required as this position interfaces with customers directly
- Strong relationship builder
- Excellent data analysis skills
- Solid business acumen
