Disability Support Worker. Permanent Part Time - North Gosford

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be providing person-centred active support to people living with disability. Supported Independent Living (SIL) is supporting people with disability in shared housing or in their own home, providing various supports including personal care and daily living assistance.

We are currently looking to fill 3 permanent part time positions. You must be available for all shifts in your preferred line:

Week 1:

Monday 6:30am to 2pm

Tuesday 6:30am to 12:30pm

Friday 3pm to 10pm

Saturday 2pm to 8pm

Sunday 8:30am to 6:30pm

Week 2:

Monday 3pm to 10pm

Tuesday 12:30pm to 6:30pm

Thursday 6am to 9:30am

Sunday 6am to 11am

Week 1:

Thursday 6:30am to 2pm

Friday 6:30pm to 11:30am

Saturday 4:30pm to 10pm

Week 2:

Monday 6am to 9:30am

Tuesday 6:30am to 12:30pm

Saturday 2pm to 8pm

Sunday 4:30pm to 10pm

Week 1:

Friday 6am to 9:30am

Saturday 8:30am to 6:30pm

Sunday 6:30am to 2pm

Week 2:

Tuesday 6am to 9:30am

Wednesday 6am to 2pm

Thursday 6:30am to 2pm

• →Assist with daily routines including manual handling, domestic assistance and personal care
• →Empower clients by promoting choice, independence, and participation
• →Community engagement including riding a bike and bushwalking
• →Promote client choice and independence in all interactions

• Dementia and behaviour support required
• An unrestricted New South Wales driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktop
• A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011

Successful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks; including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
