Lime is the largest global shared micromobility business, operating in close to 30 countries across five continents. Lime is seeking a Payroll Manager – North America to design and lead the strategic direction of payroll operations across the United States and Canada. This leader will define the vision for accurate, compliant, and employee-centric payroll delivery on an ongoing basis, managing multi-state and multi-provincial payroll complexity, while taking a hands-on approach to coordination between payroll systems, HR data, and financial reporting. Success in this role includes being a strategic thought leader on the future of Lime’s payroll model, while operating with deep knowledge of daily operations.
This role will report to the Senior Manager, Global Payments and collaborate closely with People Solutions, Corporate Technology, and broader Finance teams. The Payroll Manager will also lead and develop a distributed payroll team, including direct reports and close collaborators located in international time zones, fostering strong operational alignment and knowledge sharing across the payroll function.
This is a remote position with a requirement for candidates to reside in the United States to maintain effective collaboration across teams.
This position requires occasional travel to support business operations, which is considered an essential function of the role. Lime will provide reasonable accommodations as needed.
