Occupational Therapist - Complex Team

Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to deliver high‑quality, creative, and strength‑based interventions within the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. The role involves supporting adults with complex needs through assessments, major adaptations, and equipment recommendations, enabling service users to maintain independence and safety within the community.

• →Adhere to HCPC standards and RBKC OT service policies.
• →Maintain high-quality professional documentation and concise records.
• →Work collaboratively with health and community agencies to ensure continuity of care.
• →Contribute to departmental policies, service improvements, and project work.
• →Achieve required performance targets and meet deadlines.

 Supervision & Team Contribution:

• →Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and OT Students when required.
• →Share new knowledge and training insights with the team.
• →Represent the OT service at internal/external meetings or working groups.

• Identify training needs and attend internal/external CPD opportunities.
• Maintain development logs and support learning across the team.
• Stay current with updates in OT practice, legislation, and social care provision.

• Use relevant IT systems including:
  • Personal Index
  • Email (Lotus Notes/Outlook)
  • Word / PowerPoint
  • Intranet / Internet
• Complete mandatory digital training as required.

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
• Experience with:
  • Complex moving & handling cases
  • Major home adaptations (DFG knowledge beneficial)
• Strong community-based assessment experience
• Excellent communication and clinical reasoning abilities
