Registered Manager- Children and Young People

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager in a reputable, established multi-home organisation. You will hold overall responsibility for day-to-day management of the Children’s Home and accountable for the delivery of a high quality of service provision, incorporating care, welfare, safety and security of all children and young people in their care in order for them to achieve a secure base. Supporting, leading and managing a team of staff who will provide protection and support the children with their physical, psychological, emotional & social development. The home is an existing home with a Good Ofsted Rating.

• →Reporting to the Operations Manager and with the support of an Assistant Manager, you will effectively and efficiently manage a Multi-Building Registration.
• →Responsible for the leadership, management, and operation of your service, supporting children and young people.
• →Through your positive outlook and ability to see beyond behaviours work towards the progression and development of the children we look after
• →Set the operational direction and organise the effective running of the service to meet its statement of purpose.
• →Mentor and support residential support workers to be the best they can be
• →Work in partnership with external agencies

• A Level 5 in Leadership and management (Children and Young People)
• Good knowledge around Children’s Homes regulations (2015), Children’s Homes Regulations including the quality standards
• At least 3 years’ experience within a children’s residential homes and 1 years’ experience at a Senior level
• A Full UK driving licence
