About the Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Assistant Accountant supports Live Nation's Australian venues finance function, ensuring key financial tasks are completed accurately and within required deadlines.

This is a permanent, full-time role, with our core team based out of our Brisbane office in Fortitude Valley.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities range from journals and reconciliations to BAS preparation, head office reporting, asset accounting support and management of various trackers. Deliverables are outlined throughout the month end and quarter end timetables.

1–2 years' experience in any of the following types of account reconciliations: General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bank accounts
Understanding of debits and credits
Previous use of an accounting software
Attention to detail and a professional attitude
Ability to work both autonomously and as a team player

Exposure to general ledger coding
Experience with BAS preparation
Exposure to an ERP
A genuine music fan
