Performs cleaning tasks for assigned area, following established policies and procedures

  Cleans, mops, and scrubs hard-surface floors in assigned areas.

• →

  Vacuums and maintains carpeted areas and may operate carpet extraction equipment as needed.

  Collects and properly disposes of trash and waste.

• →

  Cleans and sanitizes assigned areas, including dusting, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and replenishing soap and other necessary supplies.

  Cleans, disinfects, and maintains restrooms.

• →

  Performs specialized cleaning and disinfection of C - Diff patient rooms using approved products and procedures.

  Removes and replaces cubicle curtains as needed.

• →

  Follows established cleaning, sanitation, infection prevention, and safety procedures.

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred but not required.
• Candidates who are looking to obtain their GED are encouraged to apply.
  • LMHS provides assistance with the cost of an approved GED preparation course and testing.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Ability to properly use, care for, and maintain cleaning equipment.
• LMH is accredited by DNV and TJC, and as such, may require specific annual education related to specialty certifications and standards.
