Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy lightweight AI-powered tools and applications to improve operational efficiency across construction and business functions
  • Partner with field teams, operations, and business stakeholders to identify manual, repetitive, or high-friction processes and translate them into AI-driven solutions
  • Develop and iterate on prompt engineering strategies to ensure consistent, accurate, and useful outputs from large language models (LLMs)
  • Prototype and test AI workflows using tools such as LLM APIs, automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make, Power Automate), and custom scripts
  • Build self-contained AI solutions (e.g., chatbots, internal assistants, workflow automations) that deliver immediate value without heavy system dependencies
  • Integrate AI tools with internal and third-party systems using APIs to enable scalable and connected workflows
  • Create dashboards, interfaces, or simple applications that allow non-technical users to easily interact with AI-driven solutions
  • Monitor, evaluate, and improve AI tool performance, including output accuracy, reliability, and user adoption
  • Implement guardrails and validation processes to mitigate hallucinations, ensure data integrity, and support responsible AI usage
  • Document workflows, tools, and processes to support scalability, maintainability, and team adoption
  • Stay current on emerging AI tools, platforms, and best practices; proactively recommend new technologies or approaches to the business
  • Support the evolution from standalone AI tools toward more integrated systems, contributing to long-term AI architecture and strategy
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, data, and business teams to align AI initiatives with broader technology and operational goals
  • Demo solutions, gather feedback, and rapidly iterate to improve usability and business impact

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field 
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or a closely related technical discipline 
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development and deployment 
  • 1+ year building and deploying AI agents or agentic workflows in a production environment 
  • Demonstrated experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable technical solutions 
  • Experience integrating AI solutions into existing enterprise systems via APIs and microservices 
  • Ability to evaluate and validate solution architecture for operational fit, scalability, and security 
  • Understanding of data security, role-based access control, and compliance considerations
