As Vice President of Finance, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how financial insight drives decisions across LTSE. Reporting to the CFO/COO, you’ll work across the enterprise to strengthen financial reporting and planning, bring greater visibility to performance and resource needs, and help leaders navigate important business decisions with clarity and confidence. This is a broad, hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys moving between the details and the big picture, bringing deep financial expertise while building the models, processes, and insights that help the business operate effectively and plan for the future. Working closely with the Senior Accountant and leaders across LTSE, you’ll have significant ownership and influence, with the opportunity to continue evolving the finance function as the company grows.
Responsibilities
~3 min read- →Maintain overall accountability for the accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of financial statements for the enterprise, including reviewing financial statements and supporting schedules prepared through the accounting function.
- →Set enterprise close requirements and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end close results, partnering with the Senior Accountant and CFO/COO to resolve significant accounting issues and ensure timely completion.
- →Lead the annual financial statement audits and coordinate audit strategy, issue resolution, and communications with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
- →Own the quarterly intercompany calculation, and review the supporting schedules and entries prepared through the accounting function.
- →Establish and maintain accounting policies, documentation, and internal controls over financial reporting, and update them as the business and its regulatory obligations evolve.
- →Own budget-to-actual reporting and analysis, identifying significant variances, emerging trends, and recommended actions.
- →Partner with the CFO/COO to drive the annual budgeting process, working directly with departments to integrate budgets into an enterprise-wide financial view.
- →Develop and maintain the comprehensive enterprise-wide long-term financial model, incorporating business plans, operating assumptions, strategic priorities, and financial risks.
- →Lead enterprise re-forecasting and scenario planning and provide leaders with a current view of expected financial performance and resource needs.
- →Lead enterprise-wide expense management by establishing reporting, monitoring spending, evaluating tradeoffs, and working with department leaders to maintain financial discipline.
- →Provide concise financial analyses and recommendations to the CFO/COO and other senior leaders to support operating and long-term planning decisions.
- →Support the CFO/COO in preparing financial materials for boards and board committees, including analysis of results, outlook, risks, and management actions.
- →Establish standards, controls, and operating expectations for accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, payroll-related finance activities, and other core accounting processes. Partner with the Senior Accountant to ensure these activities are completed accurately and on schedule.
- →Authorize vendor invoices and cash disbursements in accordance with company policies and delegated authority.
- →Manage relationships with external tax accountants and maintain accountability for federal, state, local, and sales tax compliance, with support from the Senior Accountant.
- →Lead the annual 409A valuation process and review stock-based compensation records and accounting entries.
- →Manage the company capitalization table in partnership with the operations team, ensuring transactions and records are accurate, current, and properly documented.
- →Set shared finance priorities with the Senior Accountant, provide technical direction, review key deliverables, and maintain clear ownership across accounting operations and enterprise financial planning.
- →Evaluate and improve financial systems, processes, and controls to increase accuracy, efficiency, scalability, and visibility while reducing manual work.
- →Partner with Legal, Risk, Operations, and other functions to identify and address financial, operational, and compliance risks.
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, technical accounting, close management, audits, tax coordination, and internal controls.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain integrated financial models and lead budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and variance analysis across multiple entities or business lines.
- Strong business judgment and the ability to translate detailed financial information into practical recommendations for senior leaders.
- Ability to independently lead complex, enterprise-wide work, set priorities, resolve ambiguity, and deliver accurate results in a fast-moving environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing clear materials for senior executives, boards, and board committees.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to establish accountability and drive outcomes without formal reporting authority.
- Meticulous attention to detail, sound professional skepticism, and impeccable integrity.
- A hands-on, service-oriented approach and willingness to move between strategic analysis and detailed execution as business needs require.
- At least 10 years of progressively responsible finance and accounting experience, with a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
- Active CPA license preferred.
- Prior experience as a Controller, Senior Controller, or senior finance leader with responsibility for financial reporting and planning; public company experience preferred.
- Experience with GAAP and non-GAAP financial reporting and complex technical accounting matters.
- Big Four public accounting experience or comparable experience in a fast-paced corporate environment preferred; experience in both is strongly preferred.
- Experience building or scaling finance capabilities at an early-stage or growth-stage company.
- Experience in financial services, securities markets, exchanges, or venture-backed technology companies preferred.

Base compensation is part of a total rewards package including stock options and benefits, and may include additional performance incentives. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using multiple databases including Pave, Radford, McLagan, and other peersets, to ensure competitive and fair pay.
To determine the compensation for the role, we use a data-driven, blended rate approach to ensure we are paying competitively among our peers by benchmarking to companies of similar size and stage, and hire at the 50th percentile (midpoint) of the salary range.
